Our Services
Victorian Institute of Management help
organizations and individuals improve their performance. We do this by responding to the needs of learners in an increasingly diverse workforce
Victorian Institute of Management doesn’t adopt a one size fits all approach . We respect that the training landscape has changed significantly over the last ten years and more particularly since 2020.
We respect the needs of a wide variety of learners , from people looking for quick answers to how to questions to more experienced staff looking for a combination of training solutions to help them do their job better.
91% of smartphone users will turn to their computers or mobile devices for ideas while completing a task. Searches related to “how to” on YouTube are growing 70% each year. More than 70% of employees use search engines to learn what they need for their jobs; will unlock their smartphones 9 times an hour; and watch videos for no longer than 4 minutes.
So as a result we have a lot of different training offerings to fit the needs of our learners:
Self paced professional development courses on line.
-ebooks
-short micro learning videos
-videos
-youtube clips on our channel
-pre recorded webinars.
Learning Approach
We provide a complete learning experience for students in the workforce. We call it “the VIM Way”.
As experienced facilitators of learning we believe:
learning needs to be focused and well planned,
quality learning has three components; the formal learning process, manager support and on the job experience,
modern organisations need training delivered in a variety of ways across different platforms,
students need flexible approaches where sometimes they can get the knowledge they need straight away, and
changes in skills, behaviour and knowledge require commitment from the learner and their immediate manager.
