The Advanced Diploma of Business is a nationally recognised credential which helps participants develop practical skills to provide leadership, think strategically, establish a business direction,manage finances, establish organisational development priorities and manage themselves and others more effectively.
The Advanced Diploma of Business comprises eight units:

Delivery of the units is carried out online. It can also be delivered in a blended learning way using classroom instruction, learner support material, project work and facilitator support between formal delivery sessions (minimum class size 10 people).

Provide leadership across the organisation.
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to demonstrate senior leadership behaviour, and personal and professional competence.

Lead and manage organisational change.
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to determine strategic change requirements and opportunities; and to develop, implement and evaluate change management strategies

Develop and implement a business plan.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to run a business operation and covers the steps required to develop and implement a business plan. It applies to individuals who are running anorganisation or who take a senior role in determining the effective functioning and success of the organisation. They will probablyoversee the work of a number of teams and other managers.

Manage human resources strategic planning.
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to develop a strategic approach to managing human resource issues, eg. Capability planning, workforce planning, capacity building

Contribute to organisational development.
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to contribute to the creation of an organisation development plan which ensures that the organisation will become more effective over time in achieving its goals.

Manage finances.
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to undertake budgeting, financial forecasting and reporting requirements, and to allocate and manage resources to achieve the required outputs for the business unit. It includes contributing tofinancial bids and estimates, allocating funds, managing budgets andreporting on financial activity

Develop a marketing plan.
Thisunit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledgerequired to research, develop and present a marketing plan for anorganisation

Manage knowledge and information.
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to manage data and knowledge to lead to better decisions, planning and outcomes.
